Jin Ju's First Halloween

We started off with two pumpkins and carved them.

Our Jack-O-Lanterns.

Jin Ju stayed inside and answered the door to give out candy. I posed as a dummy waiting and waiting to jump out and scare kids, but only about half a dozen groups came.

Observing from the chair...

A group of teenagers came to our house.
Girl: "Oh I hate those things. Do they pop up?"
One teenager squeezed the top of my head and poked my eye with his thumb.
Girl: "It moved."
Another Girl: "It's 'cause of the mask."
I jumped out.
Teenagers: "Ah! That was awesome!"

Boy: "I don't want to go to this house..."
Dad: "C'mon! Go up there! What's it gonna do? Jump out and scare you? You know it's right there!"

A flashlight shined in my face.
Boy: "He's real. I can feel it."
Dad: "You can feel it, eh? It's not real! Here, I'll go sit on his lap."
The dad came up to me and squeezed my shoulder.
Dad: "...That is control, buddy."

One kid approached the door while the mom stayed a few steps back.
Boy: "Mom, come next to me."
Mom: "I'm right here! It's okay. It doesn't even look like anyone's inside anyway."
After he got his candy, I jumped up.
Boy: "Aw man, I knew it!"
Mom: "Hahaha!"

But the funniest thing was that my parents came home, walked right past me, and entered the house. They closed the door and greeted Jin Ju.
Parents: "Hi! ...Where's Michael?"
Jin Ju: "You didn't see him? He's outside."
Dad: "That's Michael!?"
Door opens.
Dad: "Michael?"
Me: "Hi."
Parents: "Hahahaha!"
